Walden helped Greenlots install the first successful electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at Boulder Pointe Apartments in Middletown, NY. The EV charging stations were funded through grant programs administered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) as part of the State’s effort to encourage the deployment of infrastructure to support renewables. Walden assisted Greenlots with site planning, engineering, Planning Board approval and other technical aspects of this project. Walden prepared detailed engineering plans for the civil, electrical, parking compliance (ADA) and restoration aspects of the installation.
