Walden is pleased to announce that Vice President and Senior Project Manager Nora Brew, P.E. was recently named as an Environmental Leader in the Long Island Business News (LIBN) Influencers series!
LIBN publishes an Influencer List each month, where they highlight Long Island professionals who are considered leaders in their respective industries. Leaders are first nominated for consideration through LIBN’s website, and then the publication’s editorial team reviews all applicant information and decides upon the final list. Generally, a different industry is recognized each month.
2025 is the first year that these environmental accolades have been awarded. Other areas including accounting, construction, education, healthcare, and law have been featured on their own respective Influencer Lists in previous months (and years).
Earlier this year, we featured Nora in another blog – that one spotlighting her recognition as a Top Engineer at the 2025 LIBN Real Estate, Architecture & Engineering Awards (which were presented in June). Nora also recently celebrated 20 years of working at Walden. She is an integral part of our team and is appreciated by staff and clients alike, not just for her demonstrated engineering skills, but also for her kind and level approach, which she utilizes whether she is mentoring junior engineers or walking clients through an unexpected finding at their site.
