Walden is growing! To facilitate that growth, we’ve had to hire numerous new employees to fill support roles in the organization like Senior Accountant, Office Manager, and Administrative Assistant. These roles are extremely important to the development and growth of our company.

Kaitlin Moran was hired to fill the role of a Senior Accountant at Walden. While Moran has her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, her previous professional experiences have shaped her into a well-rounded individual with knowledge of many aspects of the business world. She served as Senior Staff Accountant and Payroll Specialist at her previous company, where she developed her skills as a leader. Moran was able to use her growing expertise to foster a smooth operation of the financials and much else within the organization. Her contributions to Walden’s accounting department have been significant as we work to standardize processes and procedures within finance. We are excited to see what she will accomplish going forward.

Diana Nieves joined Walden as Office Manager. Nieves brings to Walden decades of experience as an Office Manager and Human Resources Manager, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Human Resources Management. Previously, she worked in office administration at a large construction management group, where she provided human resource solutions to management and employees. Since starting at Walden, Nieves has played a key role in improving onboarding processes, providing support to the accounting department, carrying out risk management duties, and has updated the company handbook.

Jessica Medrano was recently hired as an Administrative Assistant for Walden’s Hudson Valley office, which is located in iPark at the former IBM East Fishkill manufacturing plant. Medrano will assist the staff with all of their administrative needs and provide assistance on other projects as needed. She has over 19 years of customer service experience, with more than 12 of those years spent as an Administrative Assistant. Medrano has worked in various departments throughout her career and has also served as a Project Coordinator and Risk Administrator.
