Kenneth B. Brezner

P.E., PROJECT MANAGER

Ken Brezner has decades of experience with all aspects of regulations pertaining to materials management, including solid waste, active hazardous waste, and pesticides. Prior to joining Walden, Brezner was the Regional Materials Management Engineer for the New York City (NYC) region of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), where he worked for almost 35 years. Some significant projects that he worked on during his time with the DEC included closing the Fresh Kills Landfill (as well as several other major landfills), permitting the four NYC Marine Transfer Stations, managing the NYC Solid Waste Management Plan, and regulating all of the solid waste facilities in NYC.

Brezner’s years of experience and skill have helped solidify his reputation as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the solid waste industry. Brezner is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in New York and New Jersey. He is an integral part of Walden’s solid waste management team.
