Happy holidays from all of us at Walden!

With the new year just around the corner, we want to take a moment to thank all of our clients for their continued support, and the entire Walden team for their incredibly hard work in 2022. Walden is very excited for all that is coming up next year, and we are ready to face the challenges that we meet along the way. We wouldn’t be Walden without all of our talented staff or our relationships with our clients, who share our goals of collaborating and finding innovative ways to solve complex environmental issues.

Thank you also to all of you who visit our blog; Walden looks forward to publishing new and exciting content in 2023 (and in the final week of 2022, too!), which will hopefully help readers to learn and discover solutions or new ways to think about things. Walden is tracking a number of recent and planned regulatory developments (including those related to New York State’s Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act and the pending New York State Part 360 solid waste management regulations) and initiatives that may impact our clients, and we are committed to keeping you informed about associated requirements and how to comply.

In the new year, Walden will also continue to serve the communities in which we are based. To end 2022 in keeping with this commitment, we held a toy drive over the past few weeks. We asked everyone who attended our annual holiday party to bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation. Through one of our clients on Long Island, these toys will be distributed to hospitalized children to brighten their day. Our staff donated several cool STEM-focused toys, which was very exciting! We love taking a day to volunteer around the time of Walden’s anniversary every year, and this was another great opportunity to give back.
