Are You Required to File a Solid Waste Annual Report?

Do you own or operate a Solid Waste Management Facility (SWMF), such as a Construction and Demolition Debris Handling and Recovery (C&D) Facility, mulch processing, or compost facility? These facilities are regulated in accord with 6 NYCRR (New York Codes, Rules, and Regulations) Part 360 or Part 361 for Solid Waste Management and/or Environmental Conservation Law (ECL) 27-2303. Annual reporting for the 2023 year for such facilities is due to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) by March 1, 2024.

These Annual Report Forms are used by the NYSDEC to focus their efforts on specialized programs and allocate resources. Failure to submit these forms will result in fines for your facility.
