On October 16th, Walden Environmental Engineering was present for Hofstra University’s Engineering Career Fair for the fourth consecutive year! Walden Engineers Andrew Oskowsky and Eddie Kirby spoke with many engineering students at Hofstra, from freshmen to current seniors who will be graduating this upcoming year looking to join the workforce.
Students had the chance to learn about the vast range of services that Walden Environmental Engineering provides and ask questions about how they can improve their technical engineering knowledge while still attending Hofstra University full-time.
Walden is a current co-op partner with Hofstra and continues to welcome young bright engineers to gain direct experience with engineering projects and work alongside licensed professional engineers. Eddie Kirby, who was the first Walden co-op while attending Hofstra in 2015, was surprised about how large the co-op program has grown and welcomed all students to ask him about his experience.
“It was impressive to see students so eager to be involved in the co-op program and secure their future!” – Eddie Kirby
Walden Principal Joseph Heaney III, who is also on the Hofstra School of Engineering and Applied Science Dean’s Advisory Board, always seeks to help engineering students in the local community supplement their studies with hands-on experience. Walden encourages all students to apply to our co-op/internship program which can be done on our website.
