Walden Environmental Engineering of Oyster Bay is excited to award one lucky Oyster Bay High School student a $3,500 college scholarship and summer internship. This will be the 3rd annual scholarship program Walden has provided through an Oyster Bay High School engineering competition.
Students who are interested in applying for this award must be in good standing to graduate in June 2016, anticipate completion of one engineering course at Oyster Bay High School and have interest in pursuing a career in engineering. Interested students will participate in an engineering competition by answering the challenge with three possible approaches to solving a problem in a 1-2 page proposal. Three finalists will be chosen to present their proposal to Walden Staff on May 11th, 2016.
The winner will be announced at the Oyster Bay High School Awards Ceremony on May 25, 2016.
