Happy Holidays from Walden 2018
On Friday, December 14th, Walden Environmental Engineering came together to celebrate the Holiday Season and another wonderful year working at Walden. This year, the party took place at the Sagamore Yacht Club. Joseph M. Heaney, the Founding Principal of Walden, likes to celebrate Walden, the holidays and all of its employees for all of the hard work that everyone put in throughout the 2018 year.

This year, Walden gained 6 new employees that were recognized at this year’s Holiday gathering, including Grace Herrera (Project Engineer), Andrew Oskowsky (Project Engineer), Ashley Mantrana (Marketing Intern), Ted Nitza P.E. (Associate – Senior Project Manager), Tom Gountras (Project Engineer), and Fatema Begum P.E. (Project Engineer).
Joe enjoys celebrating with his employees as they reach new milestones in their careers. Some of these milestones include being an employee at Walden for 1 year, 5 years and 10 years. This year, 5 employees reached their 1 year milestone, including Edmond Kirby, Greta White P.G., Larry LePere P.E., Sydney Schandel and Erica Johnston. Last year, 2 employees celebrated their one year, and 1 employee celebrated her 10 year.
More Additions!
In 2018, Walden added 2 new Professional Engineer certifications to the staff (Ted Nitza P.E. and Fatema Begum P.E.), and 3 Professional Geologists (Mike McEachern P.G., Greta White P.G. and Jessica Bluth P.G.). Walden is continuing to grow through quality and professionalism throughout
their employees.
