2021 Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair

Walden supports the Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair through the Turnkey Compliance Solutions Environmental Award. Meet this year’s award winners!

Snigtha Mohanraj, (pictured left) an 8th-grade student at the Engineering and Science University Magnet in New Haven, conducted the project, Implementation of Metal-Oxide-Induced Agglomeration and Electromagnetic Filtration for Removal of Microplastics. She was the middle school winner of the Turnkey Compliance Solutions Environmental Award.

Uma Pendkar, (pictured right) a senior at Greenwich High School in Greenwich, conducted the project, Low-Pressure Application of Metal Nanoparticles to Soybean Seeds to Provide Increased Resistance to Fusarium Virguliforme. She was the high school winner of the Turnkey Compliance Solutions Environmental Award.
